The first flight of the SP-BAD balloon, being the property of Adaptronica sp. z o.o., took place on 10th October 2021 in the vicinity of Płońsk. The balloon covered the distance of ca. 15 km within 50 minutes. Some employees of the company get trained to obtain the balloon pilot license.
Adaptronica sp. z o.o., as industrial partner, commercializes the result of the R&D project Tango 2 – a helium tethered aerostat. Positive tests have been carried out in KEZO Research Center of PAS in Jabłonna near Warsaw.
Adaptronica sp. z o.o. is a member of the consortium, which will be carrying out the project entitled „Adaptive aerostats reinforced by supporting structures SDT (Self Deployable Tensegrity) for multi-thematic Earth observation (Aero-SDT)”, within TANGO 4 program, NCBiR. The leader of the consortium is Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Adaptronica sp. z o.o. is a member of the consortium, which has signed an agreement with the European Commission for realization of the project LIVE-I – „Lightening and innovating transmission for improving vehicle environmental impacts”, within Horizon 2020 program, Marie Curie fellowships, H2020-MSCA-ITN-2019. The leader of the consortium is Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France.
Adaptronica sp. z o.o. has signed an agreement with the National Center for Research and Development for realization of the project SOFTLAND – „Airbag system for increasing the small aircraft safety during emergency landing”, within Eurostars-2 program, E! 113407. The project will be carried out in co-operation with Zall Jihlavan Airplanes s.r.o., Czech Republic.
Adaptronica has signed a contract with the European Space Agency for realization of the project „TRL6 upgrade of Active Vibration Cancellation System for cryocooler microvibrations”. The contract will be carried out in co-operation with Thales Alenia Space France.
